Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy
This policy supplements our Privacy Policy for residents of Washington and Nevada, under Washington's My Health My Data Act and Nevada's consumer health data law. Where the two conflict about consumer health data, this policy applies.
What consumer health data means here
Consumer health data is information linked or reasonably linkable to you that identifies your past, present, or future health status, including sexual health. In Staya, that is:
- your onboarding answers, some of which concern sexual wellbeing
- your training progress and session history
We collect it only from you, through your use of the app. It is stored under your anonymous account ID.
Why we collect it
We collect consumer health data with your consent where required and to provide the program you request. We also use it to understand and improve the app, as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not collect it for any other purpose.
Who processes it
Supabase (database) and Mixpanel (analytics) process this data on our instructions, under contracts that restrict them to our purposes. We do not share consumer health data with any other third party, and we do not sell it.
Your rights
You may:
- ask whether we collect, share, or sell consumer health data, and for a list of the third parties we have shared it with or sold it to
- withdraw consent for our collection and sharing of it
- have it deleted
Email support@getstaya.app. We may ask you to verify your request. You do not need to create an account to make one.
Appeals
If we deny your request, you can appeal by replying with the subject "Health Data Appeal". If your appeal does not resolve it, you can contact the Washington or Nevada Attorney General.
Changes
If this policy changes, we update this page and the effective date.
