Privacy Policy
Staya is made by Semibold Labs LLC (New Mexico, USA). This page explains what the app collects and why.
The short version
- No ad tracking, no cross-app identifiers, no data sales.
- The app does not ask for your email, phone number, or real identity.
- The app creates an anonymous account ID so your progress can be restored if you reinstall.
- Apple handles all payments. We do not receive your payment details.
What the app collects
- An anonymous account ID, created automatically on first launch. It is not linked to your name, email, or Apple ID.
- Your first name, if you enter it during setup. Used only to personalize the app.
- Your onboarding answers and training progress. Some answers concern sexual wellbeing, so we treat all of them as sensitive health information. They are stored under your anonymous ID and used to build and run your program.
- Usage and purchase events, such as which screens you see and which plan you choose. Used to understand and improve the app, not for advertising.
Where it goes
We use a small set of service providers to run Staya. They process data on our instructions and may not use it for their own purposes:
- Supabase (USA): database and anonymous sign-in; stores your progress.
- Mixpanel (USA): product analytics under your anonymous ID.
- Superwall (USA): displays our subscription screen.
- RevenueCat (USA): processes subscription status.
- Apple: processes all payments as the App Store merchant.
Staya is operated from the United States. If you use the app from another country, your data is transferred to and processed in the United States.
Retention and deletion
Your data is kept while you use Staya so the app can work. To delete your synced data, email support@getstaya.app and we will delete it and confirm.
Security
Data travels over HTTPS and is stored with the providers listed above. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
Age
Staya is for adults 18 and over. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your data. Email support@getstaya.app to exercise them. Washington and Nevada residents: see our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy.
Changes
If this policy changes, we update this page and the effective date.
